Knowledge Manager (GIS Data Manager)
LCAT: Mid and Senior
Location: CENTCOM HQ, Tampa, FL
Required clearance: TS/SCI with CI poly
Desired Experience: At least 8 years for Mid level; at least 12 years for Senior level
Desired Education: Bachelor's degree for Mid positions; master’s degree or an additional 5 years of related experience for Senior positions.
Description
Assists aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production.
Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes.
Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings.
Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.
Monitor, collect, and maintain all data capable of being geospatially enabled in an organized, accessible architecture across NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks.
Format the data for geospatial visualization platforms such as ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGlobe, Google Earth, QGIS, Palantir Raven, SOCCET GXP, ERDAS, and RemoteView covering areas that coincide with USCENTCOM AOR and AOI.
Must be capable of using all sources of intelligence to provide maximum support to USCENTCOM J2 civilians and military members. Data must be available at all times to support high OPTEMPO real-world operations in real time.

Responsibilities
- Monitor, collect, and maintain all data capable of being geospatially enabled in an organized architecture.
- Preserve foundational data accessible to all USCENTCOM personnel to aid in the creation of mapping products and visualization support provided to the USCENTCOM J2 and USCENTCOM CDR.
- Maintain over 50TB of data across USCENTCOM AOR and AOI for NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS to support operations.
- Assess database functionality for constant availability to support high OPTEMPO real-world operations.
- Conduct quality control and checks for accuracy and current data in the USCENTCOM AOR.
- Maintain multiple Geospatial Visualization platforms such as ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGlobe, Google Earth, QGIS, Palantir Raven, SOCCET GXP, ERDAS, and RemoteView.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data formation to ingest into each geospatial visualization platform.
- Search various sources of intelligence to provide maximum support to USCENTCOM J2 government civilians and military members.
- Improve and maintain all online repositories of USCENTCOM including the Portal and data displays for the entire command on three networks (JWICS, SIPR, NIPR).
- Possess proficiency in programming languages to simplify complex autolytical geospatial task.
- Automate geospatial production essential to the USCENTCOM CDR and enable geospatial analysts to quickly produce Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), which increases continuity across the Community.
- Educate and train geospatial analysts in modeling, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), and other programming languages.
