This position is contingent upon award of contract. We are seeking an experienced Analytic Facilitator to support U.S. Government intelligence training and analytic tradecraft development.
The Analytic Facilitator enables intelligence professionals to improve analytic rigor, collaboration, and critical thinking through the application of structured analytic techniques and facilitated analytic processes. This role is integral to strengthening intelligence outcomes across the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC).
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in intelligence analysis, experience facilitating analytic sessions or training events, and the ability to engage diverse analytic teams in complex problem solving.
As an Analytic Facilitator, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of intelligence analysis across critical mission areas. Your work will directly strengthen decision advantage for senior leaders and operational forces by fostering rigorous, transparent, and collaborative analytic practices that improve national security outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate analytic sessions, workshops, and structured analytic exercises for IC and DoD audiences.
- Apply and instruct structured analytic techniques in accordance with Intelligence Community tradecraft standards.
- Support intelligence training events, courses, and mission-focused analytic engagements.
- Guide analytic teams through problem framing, hypothesis generation, assumptions checks, and alternative analysis.
- Assist analysts in developing clear, well-reasoned intelligence assessments and products.
- Encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and analytic rigor in group settings.
- Document analytic processes, outcomes, and lessons learned as required.
- Coordinate with instructors, analysts, and government leads to support training objectives.
- Ensure all facilitation activities comply with security, policy, and tradecraft requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop lesson plans, presentations, and full curricula that support organizational learning objectives.
- Comprehensive understanding of intelligence community goals, tradecraft standards, instructional methodologies, and adult‑learning concepts required to design and deliver mission‑aligned training.
- Familiarity with learning platforms such as AGILE and Training Development Capability (TDC) for creating, updating, and maintaining training materiel.
- Ability to interpret emerging policy, doctrine, and regulatory publications and assess their impact on existing training programs.
- Thorough understanding of Intelligence Community analytic tradecraft standards.
- Experience facilitating group discussions, analytic exchanges, or training events.
- Proficiency with structured analytic techniques and critical thinking methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including briefing facilitation results.
- Proficiency with standard office tools and analytic collaboration platforms.
- Prior experience supporting IC or DoD analytic training programs.
- Experience as an intelligence analyst, instructor, or mentor.
- Familiarity with ICD 203/206 and related analytic integrity standards.
- Experience supporting operational or mission-focused analytic teas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide senior analysts and leaders.
